Abstract

In today's competitive business environment, quality is becoming an increasingly important issue. Many companies have implemented quality measures to improve their product quality and overall performance. Among the practices they employed were as identifying companies with the best applicable processes and observing how those techniques could be used in their own operations. This procedure has become known as Benchmarking.
