Abstract: Today's competitive banking environment has prompt many banks to consider new strategies for attracting or retaining their customers. One of these strategies is to find out how customers choose their banks. The purpose of this study is then to help banks identify the banking attributes that are perceived as important by customers in their bank selection process. In addition, this study also helps to determine whether the demographic profile of customers, such as age and education, affect the perceived importance of these banking attributes.
