Abstract: The objective of the report is to illustrate the application of a simulation technique on a queueing system in a manufacturing company. A queueing system describes the process whereby calling inputs arrive for service of some kind, wait for the service and then leave the system thereafter. As the actual queueing system can turn out to be rather complex, the simulation method of modeling is most often used. Simulation refers to the process of evaluating the actual system based on "created" data. These data are generated by observing the actual system.
