Regionalising staff to China- HRM's experience, challenges and solutions

Abstract

With competition becoming more intense, Singapore companies are strongly urged by the government to regionalise. In response to the aggressive efforts of the government's call to regionalise, the trend on moving operations regionally especially to China has been rising. With regionalisation, the proper management of expatriation has become an important issue to most Singapore companies.
