dc.description.abstractCompressors arc used in a number of engineering applications such as air conditioners and refrigerators. Out of which, hermetic reciprocating compressor is the most common and economical type of compressor used in the industry. Due to the reciprocating action of the piston during operation, unbalanced inertial force is created. In order to reduce the vibration level of the compressor caused by this inertial force, suitable counter-balance weight is introduced.en_US
