Title: | Failures in computer contracts in the Eastern part of the United States. | Authors: | Chan Yeung, Seah May Ling, Tan Eng Teng | Keywords: | DRNTU::Business::Management::Contracting | Issue Date: | 1997 | Abstract: | For the past decades, computer technology and commercial transactions involving computers and software have experienced a tremendous rate of growth. Unfortunately, rapid growth presents opportunities for conflict. This has brought about an increase in computer-related litigation. Due to the increasing popularity of computers and relevance of computer law, especially that of computer contracts, we have chosen to research into this area. We focused on failures in computer contracts. In essence, we aim to seek out the main types of disputes between contracting parties as revealed in the Court's decisions and the rationale behind them, as well as offer advice if possible to parties involved in computer contracts. | Description: | 92 p. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/57994 | Schools: | Nanyang Business School | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
