Issue Date: 1997
Abstract: The business survival of small grocery retailers here has become an increasingly acute issue. Facing competitive pressure from larger outlets and changing consumer demographics, a survey was undertaken to assess consumer behaviour with regards to grocery shopping and various grocery retail formats in Singapore. It is hoped that such research would be useful in helping various types of grocery retail formats evaluate current consumer satisfaction and their needs.
