Abstract: There are many factors that can explain the occurrence of traffic accidents. In particular, factors concerning human behaviour and characteristics have enormous influence over the accident rate. This Final Year Project investigates the involvement rate of male and female motor car drivers in fatal traffic accidents in Singapore. It also studies the relationship between gender and age group, and gender and ethnic group in these accidents.
