Reviewing and setting retention limit for a life insurance company.

Abstract

The objective of this final year project is to show how to maintain a reinsurance program. This includes a set of review criteria on how to review the old retention limit and check if corrective measures have to be taken. We also create a basic model to set a new retention limit for a medium sized life insurance company. After this, we show the applications of this model.
