Abstract: In most developing countries, urbanization has become one of the most important challenges to development in all its social, economic and political sphere. Singapore is one of the few exceptions which illustrates an approach to planned urbanization in the residential property market. The Singapore government, without any dependence on external support, has undertaken a direct and major responsibility of providing a good living environmental for the population.
