Abstract: In a globalised world, firms are turning to multi-product packing arrangements and bulk packing in the shipment of goods. Maximise space utilisation at economical cost are key factors of consideration. Reviews on recent publications suggested that current studies focus mainly on single product package protection. The present work looks into the cushioning behavior of various multiproduct packing arrangements when subjected to impact drops.
