Abstract: This Project examines the current Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) techniques, develops models of two-dimensional end-to-end anastomoses and three-dimensional end-to-side anastomoses using ANSYS 5.4, a commercially-available finite element software package, analyses stresses and highlights key observations arising from the solutions of these models.
