Query ambiguity in XML keyword search

Abstract

In a keyword search application, suggested keywords should assist users to search more effectively. However, some keywords can be ambiguous and that does not produce intended results. In this research, designed a novel approach to measure ambiguity of any keyword queries and suggesting keywords that maximize information gain that best disambiguate the existing query.
