dc.description.abstractNowadays laboratories in hospital play a dominant role in medical process, so that this project aims to construct a web application for laboratories, also called a web-based Laboratory Information System (LIS). This report will provide a brief introduction of LIS, followed by a descriptive review of LIS types and standards based on previous literature. This report will also indicate the whole design of the application, which includes use case design, database design, and activity design, etc. followed by a descriptive implementation on ASP.NET, SQL Server, and other framework used. Then this report will produce a detailed demonstration of whole process of the system as different role, doctor, patient, and technician. Limitations and further development of this project will also be stated at the end of this report.en_US
