dc.description.abstractThis dissertation mainly describes the wavefront stability of light source for the wavefront sensing systems. Several investigations on three different light sources, white light, laser diode and He-Ne laser have been carried out for two wavefront sensing systems, Hartmann and Shack-Hartmann systems. The experimental investigations are also conducted with variety of system settings such as sensing distances, different processing parameters and three different apertures. First aperture and second aperture are hole apertures for Hartmann system and third aperture is spatial light modulator lenslet array (SLM) for Digital Shack-Hartmann system.en_US
