Title: The anti-modernism of Chesterton's modernism
Authors: Teh, Ernest Yung Ern
Keywords: DRNTU::Humanities::Literature::English
Issue Date: 2014
Abstract: This essay considers G.K. Chesterton's relationship with Modernism and how it can be seen primarily in "The Man who was Thursday". It will be seen that he shared many modernist concerns and exhibited literary features resembling other modernist texts, yet differs in the conclusion that he finally brings across through these methods.
