Abstract: MiMO is a joint Final Year Project between two students; Oon Qian Yi Shannon and Chang Pei Yee, majoring in Digital Animation. MiMO is inspired by Joan Miró paintings’ lines and colours. A traditionally drawn animation, it is an abstract piece that explores the art of motion. The main concept is about the cycle of life. Through the various metamorphosis, the main character; MiMO evolves and changes, showing how characters and environments mutually affect and interact with one another. The abstract characters when interpreted by each individual viewer bring about different interpretations, thus affecting the overall storyline.
