Abstract: This study analyses the perception and expectation of customers at two American chain restaurants and to see if there are any gaps between customers' perceptions and how management perceives their respective restaurants. The selected restaurants are Tony Roma's A Place For Ribs and TGI Friday's. This would help the restaurants to evaluate their present marketing strategy and provide insight into areas requiring improvement.
