Title: | Transience | Authors: | Chong, Joan Lay Kheng | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Drawing, design and illustration | Issue Date: | 2014 | Abstract: | One thing that has always fascinates me is the idea of time and memory. The idea of time and memory is that once you had lived in it, the next moment, it’s just a past. It’s something that you won’t be able to relive in. And time is constantly moving and we are constantly aging. It’s a constant change and this is the link or the highlight of the whole research paper; the idea of change. Change is something that is impermanent as everything is changing constantly and is never static throughout the whole cycle; which is just what we are experiencing everyday. Quoting from Heraclitus, “The only thing that is constant is Change.” Thus, this research paper will pay great attention to the topic of Change. Everything around us is constantly changing and there is nothing that stays the same throughout only this process of change. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/59567 | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
