Abstract: Group Decision Support System (GDSS) combines communication, computer and decision technologies to support problem formulation and solution in group meetings. A GDSS aims to improve the group's decision making process by removing common communication barriers, providing techniques for structuring decision analysis and systematically diverting the pattern, timing and content of discussions. In view of that, many GDSS research is oriented towards examining the effects of a computer system on group outcomes, typically decision quality or group consensus.
