Abstract: This report is a study of the civil aviation industry in Singapore. It describes the performance of the industry for the past ten years based on various economic indicators. These indicators will also aid in forecasting the future prospects of aviation. The report also explains the roles played by the government, employers and the unions, and how these three bodies contribute to the industrial relations climate of the airline industry. It examines the provisions in collective agreements to determine changes in labour conditions over the past twenty years.
