Comparative analysis of accounting standards : Singapore and Hong Kong

Abstract

Much interest has been shown by Singapore investors in the economies of Hong Kong and China. This study is carried out with the objective of obtaining a better understanding of accounting standards in Singapore and Hong Kong, thus assisting investors in the interpretation of the reported accounting information prepared under Hong Kong standards.
