Abstract: Information Technology (IT) is making inroads into every aspects of our lives, it is a worldwide and planned phenomenon, not just isolated clusters of ad hoc incidents. In Singapore, the works of IT are becoming even more apparent with elaborated blueprints being drawn up in recent years to transform Singapore into an intelligent island. Change is certainly in the air, irrevocable change that touches the very fabric of our society.
