Title: | Unit-linked policies in Singapore | Authors: | Ong, Yee Chen Poh, Chee Chung |
Keywords: | DRNTU::Business | Issue Date: | 1995 | Abstract: | In recent years, unit-linked products have gained popularity in the life industry. It is amazing that such a product can create such excitement and generate high volume sales in just a short time. It has been in existence in Singapore since 1972 but only proved to be a success in the life industry when the market was on the bull run in 1993 concurrent with the launching of Prudential's first unit-linked product. Thus, this led to other life companies launching similar products subsequently in 1994. The main purpose of this report is to give an insight to the development of unit-linked products in Singapore. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/59749 | Schools: | Nanyang Business School | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
