Medical information system for physicians

Abstract

In recent years, as the demand for healthcare services increases, advancement in Information Technology has allowed medical professionals to develop the concept of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to help overcome the issue and provide better and more efficient medical care to the patients. Referencing to the concept of EMR, this Project aims to develop the Medical Information System (MIS), a web application for health care professionals to review patient health information during ward registration, discharge planning, inpatient procedures and diagnose prescriptions in a simple and convenient manner, and thus, increases efficiency in providing better health care services to the patients.
