Abstract: Regionalisation has been a much talked about topic since the day SM Lee Kuan Yew called for the local enterprises to broaden their business horizon beyond Singapore. The purpose of undertaking this research is to explore the reasons for the calls for regionalisation. Singapore's ability to go regional are evaluated and the costs that may results from business regionalising into the region are touched upon.
