Supervisory power bases and their effects on workers' attitude

Abstract

Various studies on leadership theories had been carried out by early researchers in the foreign context. Recognising the significance of human resource in the economic performance of businesses, this study sets out to investigate the development of power bases and their corresponding impact on workers' attitude. In order to gain a local perspective of this issue, which is absent in previous research, a questionnaire survey was conducted on Singapore workers.
