Web application for pharmacy information system

Abstract

The main purpose of this project is to build a Web Based Pharmacy Information System, which helps user to manage the pharmacy data in different hospitals in a region. It aims at helping user to save cost and time on pharmacy management. The whole system is made up of five major components: Category Management, Medicine Management, In Store Management, Out Store Management and Storage tracking with some accessory functions such as Customize Printing Page and so on.

This Web based Project is developed using ASP.NET C# with SQL. And development platform should be Visual Studio 2013 and SQL Server 2012.The technology that is used to access relational data is ADO.NET.

At the end of the project, the final product as a complete and stable system, which matches the requirements and specifications expected.

For further improvement, the system can be mobilized on smart phones to achieve better usage and security issue can be enhanced due to it’s a critical application in terms of information stored.
