dc.description.abstractThe omnidirectional circularly polarized (CP) microstrip antennas with coplanar waveguide feed (CPW) are designed and studied. The antennas consist of a multilayer structure with two substrates, two radiating square metal patches and a ground plane with the CPW feed. The structure forms a back to back configuration, with ground plane between the substrates containing metal patches. Heights of the substrates are lowered to make it a thin and compact design with low cost.en_US
