Title: | Tangible images | Authors: | Liu, Zuoren | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering::Software | Issue Date: | 2014 | Abstract: | ‘Tangible Image’ is to reduce the visual rendering of the haptic interaction by replacing 3D reconstruction with 2D image. An application was previously developed to create ‘tangible image’ which allowed user to experience haptic interaction with the image. The application was developed using the OpenHaptics development toolkit and is operated on OMNI Haptic Device. This project development is to allow the application to operate on the Novint Falcon device. Another set application programming interface (API) will be used to develop on the application.
