dc.description.abstract | This paper describes experiments done on a fibre reinforcement composite material used for Aero Space Industries by using a Thermovission 900 Lock -In system to detect the sub surface defects with the utilization of the thermal technique. This technique monitors the thermographic interference pattern produce by an incident thermal wave with one returning wave from a subsurface defect. By using the phase and amplitude data plot from interference pattern on an area of the material, information on the defects can be determine. | en_US |
