Abstract: This report discusses about some theoretical knowledge, design, implementation, and experimental results of a multi-level boost converter which is a modification of the very basic boost converter circuit. A current mode controller is used to regulate and control the output of the converter to make it more robust to load changes and interferences. This report will present the comparison of open-loop and closed-loop results which would demonstrate the importance of control theory and circuit in our daily lives.
