Abstract: The Abui Cultural Heritage Website’s motivation stems from a social and cultural cause – to propagate a quickly vanishing culture. Here, the project embarks on the challenge of setting up from scratch a unified platform for the social cause. In this project, web technologies are explored to bring about a feature rich platform, some of which implementable only via recent web technology developments. Various aspects of user experience and web performance are kept in mind throughout the implementation of the web portal as user retention is important in this age of information. Ultimately, a holistic evaluation of the final product will be presented, and the results will be benchmarked against Google Developers’ website to determine the extent of success of the website’s implementation.
