Abstract: This report aims to provide an insight on an Android application known as SG Transport Alarm, whose main objective is to provide a timely alarm to its user before reaching a pre-specified MRT or bus stop. The application is designed to provide notifications based on distance remaining before the destination is reached. This report will provide details on how the application was slowly developed over a period of nearly eight months. The design changes, feature additions as well as removal could be observed in the project development chapter. There is a separate chapter to cover the UI as well as the functions behind each and every screen involved in the application. Tracking algorithms involved in the application are also available in detail.
