Abstract: Welding comes in many different types of states and forms where the range of applications can range from construction a car to an aircraft. The increase advance of technology leads to an increase efficiency of welding. Hence, the quality of weld will then be associated as an important factor and therefore standard is use to benchmark this quality. Each welding process has their own set of variables and its own unique ISO standard. The ISO 25239-3:2011 Qualification of welding operators regulates the friction stir welding standard that a welding operator required to ensure been recognised globally. This is to make sure that quality and consistency of weld is been comply with the standard. Application of database system has been developed to organise the qualification of welding operator based on the requirements stated at the ISO standard. The application also incorporated features such as the application help manual and ISO standard manual for user to refer when facing uncertainty in the system.
