Title: Analysis of ejector based multi-evaporator refrigerator system
Authors: Hoong, Jie Le
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering
Issue Date: 2014
Abstract: This report is a write up on what the author had learned and done during his Final Year Project period. The first part of this report will give you an idea why variable area ratio ejector was used in EMERS. After which will be analysis of experiment's data. At the end of every experiment, there will be a conclusion followed by what is the next procedure to be executed. Through the experiments, the author had gained knowledge on how varying the spindle position affects the pressure, flow rate and pressure recovery in an ejector. Author also found out that for a certain range of spindle position, pressure and flow rate were not greatly affected. Effective spindle position where significant change in pressure and flow rate was been explored. Furthermore, changing one of the parameters other than EEV2, the secondary inlet pressure of the ejector can be manipulated. Lastly, a model relating the pressure change, mass flow rate and spindle position was proposed.
