The algorithm is based on the writing habits of device owners and has some advantages of artificial immune system. If there is a message determined to be unauthorized sending, then there is a high possibility that the device is infected by an SMS-based Android botnet. Further actions such as finding out the malware can be taken. Meanwhile, unexpected in-coming messages like spam can also be examined briefly.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/10356/60487||Rights:||Nanyang Technological University||Fulltext Permission:||restricted||Fulltext Availability:||With Fulltext|
