Abstract: Quality failures in manufacturing process could lead to poor customer satisfaction, waste of manufacturing resources, and eventually low business profitability. Therefore, inspection is commonly adopted to control production quality standard. Yet, the number and location of inspection machines need to be optimized to achieve the best quality performance with low financial commitment.
