|Title:||Design of a real-time process tracking system in a production cell||Authors:||Zhang, Endong||Keywords:||DRNTU::Engineering::Manufacturing||Issue Date:||2009||Abstract:||Company AFT needs a real-time process tracking system to monitor the key performance indicators (KPI) of its artificial lift gauge production cell to understand its production problems. In this project, six KPIs were identified, including inventory level, cycle time, overall production rate, utilization rate, first-time pass rate and process capability. A tracking system capable of obtaining relevant data was designed and programmed in Microsoft Access. The trial implementation had proven the functionality of the new tracking system.
