Abstract: In this thesis, intensive research effort was focused on the investigation of new methods towards the synthesis of azaheterocycles. Two different approaches have been discovered and developed: (l) Rh(III)-catalyzed C-H bond functionalizations (Chapters 2-4); (2) Cu(I)-mediated intramolecular annulation (Chapter 5).
