Abstract: The construction industry in Singapore has been constantly plagued by inefficiencies and low levels of productivity. To improve the situation, the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) has identified Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a key technology to improve productivity and set a target to have 80% of the construction industry use BIM by 2015.
