Abstract: What is the cloud computing? Nowadays, this term is everywhere and can be easily spotted on newspapers, magazines, advertisements and banners. However, what is its precisely meaning? In basic terms, cloud computing in some ways is similar to the Internet. It stores and accesses data and programs over the Internet instead of ordinary computer's hard drive. The stuff when a person keep his data on or run programs from the hard drive is called local storage and computing. All his material he need is physically close to him, which means the data access is fast and easy, for his own computer, or others on the local network (that was how the computer industry operated for past decades). The cloud computing is opposite. The material is not totally upfront. However, people can access or synchronize them over the Internet. With the fierce progress of the Internet, the cloud computing can be done anywhere and anytime. So what is the advantage of the cloud computing to former local storage and computing? Why is cloud computing needed for the current technology trend? Cloud computing is bringing numerous benefits to human life and business. Some of these benefits can be listed here as: very cost efficiency for using, maintaining and upgrading; almost unlimited storage; effortless backup and recovery; automatic software integration; high flexibility and easy access to information which can be extremely effective globalization and monitoring. Because of enormous number of benefits it brings, cloud computing becomes trend of modern technology which is suitable for all types of companies and organizations for their growth and success. When it comes to business, there are some several services of cloud to serve different purposes and resources. They are Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), where a business subscribes to an application with which it accesses over the Internet, or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), where a business can create its own custom applications for use, or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), where professional enterprises like Amazon, Google, and Rackspace provide a backbone that can be used or developed by other companies and organizations. In this very present, Amazon has raised like the top cloud computing service provider with their powerful product Amazon Web Services (AWS). Alongside with its tools AWS Management Console, this platform is a vastly diversified, stable, countlessly supported and first-class service to deploy cloud computing, especially cloud-based applications.
