dc.description.abstractRadio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has various applications for automatically identifying and tracking purpose. RFID uses radio frequency signal for communication. Passive RFID tags uses input RF signal as power harvesting source as well. Wireless Identification and Sensing Platform (WISP) is a passive RFID with sensing and computing capability. The project aims to study modulator/demodulator for WISP frontend. The main focus of this project is to design low power Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) demodulator. Different approaches in the design of the demodulator have been studied by verifying the theoretical design with simulations. All MOSFET ASK demodulator with feedback technique and comparator have been proposed for WISP low power application. The demodulator circuits have been simulated to verify the functionality. Since microprocessor may have different supply voltage as the demodulator, three level shifters are studied and simulated for proper microprocessor data processing.en_US
