Abstract: Electrokinetics has materialized as one of the most established techniques for manipulation and transportation of ions, particles and fluids in microfluidic channels. The objective of this project is to evaluate the electrokinetic-driven transport of an electrolyte in three-dimensional microchannel with a cubic cross-section theoretically. A thin electric double layer(EDL) approximation is used in this study.
