Abstract: With the rise of the elderly population in Singapore, elderly care is essential. Caregivers are often worried about the elderly well-being when they are out, while the elderly yearns for a carefree living. Without compromising the carefree living of the elderly, the indoor intelligent care prototype system is designed so as to aid the caregiver in assessing the situation at home. This report will cover the problems faced by the rising population of elderly and the needs of elderly care. In addition, it will also discuss the operating principle and technical aspects of the Indoor Intelligent Elderly Care systems works.
