Title: Identifying and quantifying postural adaptation as a marker for onset of sarcopenia : a gait analysis study
Authors: Devika

Issue Date: 2014
Abstract: Sarcopenia is a degenerative loss of the skeletal muscle that generally happens during old age. This disorder can lead to worse problems and even death. This could happen due to the postures adapted over time, which could ultimately be a problem once old age is reached. The postural patterns therefore need to be studied and combated before this affects people any further.
