Abstract: As a result of internet expansion and information explosion, volume of information stored in Web contents is largely increased in recent years. Huge expanding of Web content addresses many issues for information management. In this project, a smart data dissemination system with comprehensive content management features is designed to cope with information management problems. Concepts of Web Content Management System (WCMS) and Data Dissemination System (DDS) are heavily applied as the firm theoretical support for building up the final product. The product development process starts from requirements collection and system structure design. It consists of system logic flow analysis and proper technical tools selection. A professional system design will then serve as a guideline for functionality implementation. Many customized functions are developed for the main site and the administrative portal respectively. At the end of the development life cycle, system maintenance guidelines and database backup strategies will be provide for consistent system operation.
