Title: | Indoor spatial variations considerations of active chilled beam system | Authors: | Li, Luyao | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering | Issue Date: | 2014 | Abstract: | Active chilled beam (ACB) system, as a method of controlling large sensible cooling loads with excellent energy behavior are becoming popular with designing consultants and commercial buildings. Due to high induction diffusers, the primary advantage of the active chilled beam system is its lower operating cost. In this project, the induced air will be discussed. Several experiments will be conducted to test the induced air velocity. Air distribution figure mapped by MATLAB program is helpful for us to understand the induced air distribution rules. To make the data collected more reliable, several pressure intensity of the ACB terminal is chosen. Further more, the air distribution rules will be represented in-depth based on distribution figures. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/61248 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
