Title: | Ultrasound communication | Authors: | Sng, Kelvin Jing Hui | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering | Issue Date: | 2014 | Abstract: | This report provided a full description of the activities, which I did for the Final Year Project Ultrasound Communication. The report also included the tasks and difficulties I encountered, and what I have learnt throughout the year in accomplishing this Final Year Project. In this report, the building of an ultrasound transmitter-receiver pair will be discussed. During the transmission of signal, a form of digital processing, such as digital filtering for noise rejection will be implemented in the digital signal processor. Using these devices, the characteristics of using ultrasound as a carrier will be investigated. This report will cover an in-depth description of my work progress for the duration of the complete project. In addition, it will provide detailed explanation of the exploration and study on effective range, transducer directivity and multipath effects. This report can serve as an important record for future reference to technical related areas. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/61257 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
