dc.description.abstractThis report presents a Final Year Project design performed in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University and STMicroelectronics Singapore. The main purpose of this project is to tap into students’ creativity and design ability to make use of STMicroelectronics MEMS product to design an innovative product which could human wellbeing in any areas. This concept will highlight the design of the 3 axes Gimbal surveillance sphere which has the capability of tuning the camera to its horizontal axis to obtain a stable image of the surrounding. It will describe the mechanical/structural design, hardware (electronic) design and the software design as well as various technologies used to design this project.en_US
